Abstract

В статье рассматривается процесс подготовки и ключевые проблемы советско-американских переговоров по ограничению стратегических вооружений (ОСВ-1). Отмечается важная роль конфиденциального канала «Добрынин-Киссинджер». Политика «увязки» вопросов разоружения с решением вьетнамской проблемы, «поведением» Советского Союза на международной арене, проводимая Соединенными Штатами, накладывала большой отпечаток на ход советско-американских переговоров. Результатом переговоров ОСВ-1 стало создание правовой базы дальнейших отношений СССР и США в области разоружения.
