Abstract

Настоящая работа воспроизводит основное содержание лекции, прочитанной в Принстон-ском университете 20 мая 1946г. Впоследствии она была включена в книгу «Индивидуализм и экономический порядок». В работе автор критикует неоклассический подход к теории конкуренции, а следующая цитата наиболее полно передает ее содержание: «... то, о чем идет речь в теории совершенной конкуренции, вообще имеет мало прав называться "конкуренцией"... если бы допускаемое теорией совершенной конкуренции положение вещей существовало всегда, оно не только не оставило бы места всем видам деятельности, описываемым глаголом "конкурировать", но и сделало бы их, в сущности, невозможными».
