Abstract

Автор статьи дает ответ на вопрос: что такое Урал в новых экономико-политических реалиях. В статье анализируются и выявляются процессы, формирующие технологическую структуру конкурентоспособности экономики региона, а также оцениваются траектории, по которым он развивается, и последствия, к которым они могут привести, на что ориентируют экономику. Внимание уделено и анализу экономических связей областей и республик Урала: действительно ли это историческое образование или искусственно соединенные территории. Еще один круг вопросов, поставленных в статье, - место Урала в экономико-политическом пространстве России. Результаты работы позволяют более взвешенно подойти к формированию региональной экономической политики, основной задачей которой является выстраивание эффективной и конкурентоспособной экономики региона.
