О Пользе Конкуренции И Провалах Регулирования В Финансовой Сфере

Abstract

После разрушительного мирового финансового кризиса 2008 г. многие экономисты — эксперты в области финансовых рынков высказывались за ограничение конкуренции в финансовой сфере, усиление государственного регулирования, дабы защитить экономику от деструктивного воздействия финансовых рынков, т. е. среди экономистов преобладает критическое отношение к конкуренции в целом и к финансовым инновациям в частности. В данной статье предпринята попытка примирить конкуренцию и регулирование, утверждается, что финансовая (банковская) система также должна быть открыта влиянию «созидательного разрушения», которое несет с собой инновационная конкуренция. Также критически рассматривается роль государственного регулирования финансового сектора на примере ипотечного кризиса в США.
