Abstract

В статье предпринята попытка анализа взаимосвязи развития демократических институтов и темпов экономического роста. Подчеркнуто значение разработки этой проблемы на теоретическом уровне для совершенствования взаимоотношений общества и власти на различных уровнях решения политических, экономических и социальных проблем. Выявлены механизмы влияния наиболее существенных институтов демократического общества на темпы и качество экономического роста. В первую очередь это институт частной собственности, свобода предпринимательства и торговли, а так же неприкосновенность личности. Также решающее значение имеет определенная форма государственного устройства, в которой народу принадлежит верховная власть. Это может быть обеспечено, когда в обществе приняты и утверждены заранее декларированные правовые нормы, основанные на приоритете базовых индивидуальных прав и свобод
