Abstract

В статье представлен исторический экскурс эволюции категории и сущности уголовного наказания, проводится сравнительный анализ различных практик и подходов к применению наказания. Особое внимание уделяется духовно-нравственным и психологическим аспектам уголовного наказания. На основании проведенного исследования теоретических подходов и практик применения уголовного наказания, а также его правомерных целей, уточняется и конкретизируется понятие «уголовное наказание»
