Динамика Численности И Изменения В Составе Городского Населения В Нижегородской Губернии (1860-1890гг. )

Abstract

Статья посвящена изучению количественных и качественных изменений городского населения Нижегородской губернии социальных и сословных изменений городского населения в период с 1861 по 1897 гг. На основе проведенного исследования сделаны следующие выводы. На протяжении II половины XIX в. происходит процесс увеличения численности городского населения Нижегородской губернии, одной из причин которого следует назвать миграцию крестьянства в города. В результате население городов было представлено в большей части непривилегированными сословиями, что нашло отражение в значительной имущественной поляризации. Вышеназванные факторы способствовали размыванию сословной структуры общества и формированию классовых групп.
