Abstract

Статья посвящена проблеме формирования концепции экономической свободы А. Смита в контексте развития республиканизма как ряда направлений политической мысли Запада XVI XVIII вв. Система республиканских ценностей и протестантской морали коренным образом повлияли на экономистов рассматриваемых эпох, дав вдохновение Адаму Смиту на создание его теоретической системы политической экономии, ключевое значение для которой сыграла философия Дж. Локка.
