Abstract

Теория предпочтений является активно развивающейся отраслью экономической науки. Однако эта теория, являющаяся центром теории максимизирующей рациональности, имеет свои ограничения. Неоклассические экономисты считали, что гипотезы, касающиеся структуры предпочтений, необходимые для формулирования гипотезы ожидаемой полезности, будут справедливыми на уровне проверки простой интуицией. Теория предпочтений находится в центре поиска новой парадигмы для неоклассических экономистов и служит барьером между тем, что они называют экономикой и социальным поведением.
