Abstract

В статье рассмотрены проблемы малоосвоенных и слабозаселённых территорий северного региона на примере Республики Коми, выполнена типология районов на основе показателей их промышленного развития, отмечены региональные особенности северной политики государства, показана роль угольной промышленности в энергообеспечении страны, оценены перспективы формирования нового центра угледобычи на Северо-Западе России на базе Сейдинского месторождения каменного угля
