Abstract

В результате перехода к рыночной экономике в нашей стране в конце 90-ых годов 20 века железнодорожные перевозки сократились. Часть железнодорожных станций и путей были демонтированы. В современных условиях объемы перевозок возрастают и есть необходимость реконструкции существующих железнодорожных станций для увеличения их перерабатывающей способности. В статье осуществлена попытка проанализировать проблемы работы железнодорожной станции Муром, Горьковской железной дороги и предложить их решения.
