Abstract

В статье анализируются причины торможения международной торговли в посткризисные годы, показано, что за данным феноменом стоят не только циклические, но и структурные долгосрочные факторы, свидетельствующие о вероятности сохранения в обозримом будущем подобной динамики развития. Рассматривая причины нынешнего падения нефтяных цен, автор находит много общего у него с обвалом нефтяных цен 1985-86г.г., после которого низкие цены на нефть держались около двадцати лет. Наконец, он называет факторы, которые могут способствовать сохранению низких нефтяных цен в течение длительного времени: вялость спроса; переход функции регулятора нефтяного рынка от ОПЕК и Саудовской Аравии к производителям сланцевой нефти в США; наличие множества игроков и широко распространенной практики хеджирования в данной отрасли, чтобудет обрекать ее на перманентные кризисы перепроизводства.
