Abstract

В статье рассмотрены достоинства и недостатки ВВП (валового внутреннего продукта) как основного показателя, выражающего стратегию социально-экономического развития страны. Различные подходы и методы оценки ВВП анализируются в контексте их эффективности при подсчете показателей. Фактор ВВП также рассмотрен в связи со сравнительной экономической характеристикой различных государств и указаны ограничения показателя ВВП как универсального показателя размера экономики (в т.ч. учет теневой экономики). Автор делает вывод, что динамика ВВП должна анализироваться в комплексе с другими критериями экономического роста.
