Abstract

Настоящая статья посвящена проблеме обучения терминологии англоязычного дискурса русскоязычных студентов. В статье рассматриваются особенности терминосистемы английского общего права. Предлагается объяснять полисемичные юридические термины студентам через их лингвокогнитивные модели. В статье анализируются лингвокогнитивные модели нескольких юридических терминов и способ их объяснения студентам.The article is devoted to the problem of teaching Russian students the terminology of the legal English discourse. The peculiarities of the terminological system of English law are considered. Th e article substantiates a new approach to explaining polysemous legal terms by using their lingvo-cognitive structures. The article analyses several legal terms through their lingvo-cognitive structures and suggests a method of their explanation to the students.
