Abstract

В работе представлена регрессионная модель для прогнозирования мировых цен на железную руду. Модель основана на допущении о равенстве цены издержкам маржинального производителя, который находится в Китае. Представлен прогноз мирового спроса, предложения и цен на руду до 2015 г.This paper describes an econometric model for long-term iron ore price forecasting. The model is based on an assumption that the market price equals the marginal fi rms costs. As an example of the model output, 2011-15 iron ore prices forecast is presented.
