Abstract

Международные контрейлерные перевозки представляют собой вид смешанных (комбинированных) перевозок грузов, когда часть пути автомобили с погруженными в них грузами проходят по железной дороге. Данный вид сообщений всё больше внедряется в Европе из-за ужесточения экологических требований и увеличивающейся загруженности автомобильных дорог. В нашей стране контрейлерные перевозки не получили пока должного развития. Оцениваются возможности, перспективы и сферы применения международных контрейлерных перевозок в России.International piggyback is a kind of combined transpartation, when cars with goods pass part of the way by rail. Th is type of messaging is increasingly being introduced in Europe because of stricter environmental requirements and increasing road congestion. In our country piggyback has not yet been developed. Opportunities, prospects and scope of international piggyback in Russia are assessed.
