Abstract

В статье рассматриваются возможности и перспективы реализации такой формы региональной экономической интеграции как таможенный союз. Анализируются исторические, методологические и практические аспекты этого вопроса. Показаны преимущества таможенного союза для стран-участниц, а также трудности и проблемы на пути его формирования. Высказаны соображения по использованию зарубежного опыта региональной интеграции в практике создания таможенного союза.This article deals with possibilities and prospects for the realization of such form of regional economic integration as customs union. The analysis covers historical, methodological and practical aspects of the above issue. The author evaluates the advantages of customs union for participants as well as difficulties and problems in the process of its creation. The article also contains proposals for using relevant foreign experience to solve some practical issues arising in the course of formation of customs union.
