Abstract

Экономические преобразования в Королевстве Бахрейн обусловили необходимость реформирования системы образования и развития человеческих ресурсов. В данной статье исследуются основные этапы становления системы высшего образования в стране, анализируются проблемы ее развития на современном этапе. Частный сектор и ориентация на международное сотрудничество являются ключевым элементом формирования конкуренто-способного образования в Королевстве. В связи с этим особое внимание в статье уделено положению Бахрейна на мировом образовательном рынке, стратегии бахрейнских университетов и инициативам страны на пути к превращению в региональный образовательный центр.
