Abstract

Сегодня величие и значимость государства определяется не только размерами и сырьевыми запасами, но и уровнем развития и конкурентоспособностью его экономики, важнейшими показателями которой являются высокотехнологичное, наукоемкое производство, знания, экспорт образовательных услуг. В статье рассматриваются состояние и перспективы высшего образования России в 1998-2010 гг., поднимаются темы кризиса высшего образования РФ и сокращения числа вузов, изучаются основные причины привлечения иностранных студентов в российские вузы и основные тенденции их обучения. В рамках реализации Концепции экспорта образовательных услуг в 2011-2020 гг. предполагается решить многие проблемы благодаря государственной поддержке.
