Abstract

Дискуссия об оптимальности существующего в настоящее время состава субъектов РФ демонстрирует противоречия, накопившиеся в государственном устройстве нашей страны за последние годы. В статье делается попытка оценить последствия прошедших укрупнений, которые рассматриваются как часть процесса называемого модернизацией страны в целом.
