Abstract

В статье выполнен критический анализ различных теоретико-методологических подходов к оценке социально-экономического развития региона и прогнозированию их будущего. Рассмотрен, в частности, метод самоидентификации территории, широко используемый в последнее время учеными Института экономики УрО РАН для стратегического анализа уровня развития и определения потенциала ее саморазвития, а также методические подходы других российских исследователей. Автором предложен вариант развития территорий Юго-Западной Сибири, основанный на модернизационном сценарии «сложения» потенциалов путем экономической интеграции соседних субъектов Российской Федерации указанного макрорегиона. Основная цель интеграции — создание территориально-хозяйственного пространства с многосекторной конкурентоспособной экономикой, обладающей достаточным внутренним потенциалом саморазвития.
