Abstract

На примере ряда западноевропейских стран авторы проанализировали подходы к построению современной модели европейского социального государства. Единство многообразия позволяет говорить о европейской социальной модели общества и социальной политики, которые опираются на регулируемую рыночную экономику, социальный диалог, консенсус относительно принципов солидарности в обществе, равенство прав и свобод человека. Рассматриваются также институты и инструменты социальной политики, базирующиеся на социальном законодательстве, структурных фондах, социальном диалоге и открытой координации социальной политики на уровне государств членов ЕС, а также на системе социальной защиты.
