Abstract

Мировой финансово-экономический кризис и рецессия в ряде европейских стран вызвали необходимость пересмотра сложившейся в некоторых странах ЕС модели европейского социального государства и снижения социальных стандартов. Это привело к серьезным переменам в социальной сфере изменениям на рынке труда, в здравоохранении, образовании, пенсионном обеспечении. Это вызвало также необходимость изменений в социальной политике европейских стран с целью ее соответствия принципам проводимой в ЕС политики бюджетной экономии. В статье рассматривается наиболее сложный для ряда европейских стран период с 2009 по 2014 год. Особое внимание уделено проблемам рынка труда, социальной защиты и здравоохранения. В работе обосновывается, что политика жесткой экономии, вопреки ожиданиям, не привела к всеобщему росту экономик большинства европейских стран, а, наоборот, способствовала увеличению безработицы, снижению социальных расходов на образование, здравоохранение и росту бедности в европейских странах.
