Инфляция, Инфляционная Паника И Спекуляция В Условиях «Свободы Торговли» Времен Гражданской Войны (По Материалам Газет Антибольшевистского Юга России)

Abstract

В статье анализируются материалы на финансовую и торговую тематику, опубликованные в ведущих газетах, выходивших на территории Белого юга России в 1919 г. Главное внимание уделяется тем сведениям и тем оценкам, которые журналисты и экономисты приводили в своих статьях, посвященных денежному и товарному обращению и мерам правительства генерала А.И. Деникина по его регулированию. Делается вывод, что статьи о денежном и товарном обращении, о правительственных мерах по его регулированию как правило подрывали доверие населения к бумажным деньгам. В условиях Гражданской войны и экономической разрухи это закономерно вело к обострению кризиса денежного обращения, падению курса рубля, инфляции, инфляционной панике и спекуляции на территории Белого юга России.
