Abstract

Рассматривается понятие электронного банкинга и его место в системе современных банковских услуг. Критически проанализировав этапы становления электронного банкинга в банковской системе России, авторы определяют его с помощью категорий «дистанционное банковское обслуживание» и «электронные банковские услуги». Наиболее точно экономическую сущность явления отражает понятие «электронный банкинг» как технология предоставления финансовых услуг, при которой поставщик услуг и клиент (потребитель услуг) взаимодействуют посредством информационно-телекоммуникационных систем, будучи при этом максимально юридически и технически защищенными от сопутствующих банковских рисков.
