Abstract

Настоящий доклад иллюстрирует краткую историю становления криминалистики как науки и раскрывает ее роль в борьбе с преступностью, касаясь вопросов глобального прогресса в мире и науке, в частности, как генетическая идентификация помогает следствию и насколько изучение ДНК продвинулось вперед. Освещает вопросы ближайшего будущего молекулярно-генетической экспертизы о том, как изучение митохондриальной ДНК способствует раскрытию и расследованию преступлений, изобличению лиц, их совершивших.
