Abstract

В статье представлены результаты исследования вторичной занятости научных сотрудников в постсоветской России, проведенного Институтом статистических исследований и экономики знаний ГУ-ВШЭ в 2007 г. При помощи факторного анализа выявлены четыре латентных мотива научной деятельности, используемые в качестве предпосылок к принятию решения о вторичной занятости. Применение кластерного анализа позволило создать типологию использования времени на основной работе и классификацию портфелей вторичной занятости ученых. При помощи регрессионных моделей определено влияние как индивидуальных, так и институциональных особенностей на наличие и характер дополнительной занятости. Так, на вероятность получения второй работы положительно влияет наличие степени кандидата наук, а отрицательно пенсионный возраст. Значимыми факторами оказались и некоторые характеристики места работы, мотивация, характер занятости в прошлом.
