К Вопросу Об Эффективности Действий 1-Го Канадского Парашютного Батальона В Годы Второй Мировой Войны

Abstract

В данной статье предпринята попытка проанализировать степень эффективности использования западными союзниками воздушно-десантных войск во время Второй мировой войны на примере 1-го канадского парашютного батальона. В качестве материалов для анализа использовались доклады Генштаба Канадских вооруженных сил, а также ряд исследований по истории воздушно-десантных сил западных союзников во время мирового конфликта. Автор приходит к выводам о недостаточной эффективности использования данных подразделений в силу отсутствия разработанных тактических схем и моделей, а также несовершенства ряда технических средств того периода.
