Abstract

В статье обосновывается необходимость развития монопрофильных городов в России. На основе анализа социально-экономических проблем развития монопрофильных поселений на примере городов Саратовской и Ростовской областей доказывается необходимость их трансформации в полипрофильные. Необходимо снижение зависимости от градообразующего предприятия путем развития других отраслей и прихода в город других видов бизнеса. Доказано, что применение стратегии диверсификации экономики монопрофильных городов позволит достичь стабильности в социально-экономическом развитии города и выхода из кризисного положения.
