Abstract

Современный этап развития российского общества характеризуется модернизацией всех сфер жизни социума. Успех преобразований во многом зависит от социальной ответственности граждан, их отношения к происходящему. Важную мобилизующую и объединяющую роль выполняет изучение истории своей страны. В статье обосновывается необходимость введения нового историко-культурного стандарта с целью формирования общественного единства, мобилизации во имя решения жизненно важных проблем. Анализируется опыт предыдущих лет по организации исторического образования в стране.
