Участие Пензенского Ополчения В Осаде Гамбурга

Abstract

Цель данной статьи рассмотреть участие Пензенского ополчения в заграничных походах русской армии 1813-1814 гг. Итоговым событием заграничных походов была осада Гамбурга хорошо укрепленного города, расположенного на р. Эльбе. На основе воспоминаний К. И. Селунского и журнала боевых действий автор подробно описывает все перемещения батальонов Пензенского ополчения в момент наибольшей активности союзных армий во время осады (с конца января до конца февраля 1814 г.). С прекращением военных действий и сдачей Гамбурга были закончены не только заграничные походы, но и война в целом.
