Abstract

В данной статье рассказывается о годах эмиграции (18761878), проведенных во Франции и Великобритании С.Г. Ширяевым видным деятелем российского освободительного движения, членом Исполнительного комитета первой в России политической партии «Народная воля», основателем и первым руководителем ее знаменитой динамитной лаборатории. Особое внимание уделяется факторам, повлиявшим на формирование его мировоззрения: знакомству с П.Л. Лавровым и Г.А. Лопатиным, вступлению в кружок русско-польских социалистов-пропагандистов, действующих за рубежом; рассматривается влияние, оказанное на него западноевропейской анархической литературой.
