Abstract

В статье проанализировано законодательство о выборах и особенности реализации избирательных прав потомственным дворянством Симбирской, Пензенской, Казанской и Самарской губерний в первой половине XIX в. Автор выявил факторы, повлиявшие на изменение политики самодержавия по отношению к привилегированному сословию, а также предпринял попытку установления степени социально-политической активности провинциального дворянства в предшествовавший Великим реформам период.
