Abstract

В 2012 году исполнилось 120 лет со дня рождения выдающегося русского экономиста с трагической судьбой Н.Д. Кондратьева и 90 лет со дня выхода в свет его первой крупной работы «Рынок хлебов и его регулирование во время войны и революции», ставшей впоследствии классической. Данным трудом в конце ХХ века (1991 г) была открыта академическая серия «Памятники экономической мысли». В книге показан процесс формирования и развития рынка хлебов в России, важнейшего для ее экономики и социальной жизни. Раскрыты предпосылки его возникновения, трудности создания, институциональное оформление, разработаны теоретические и практические проблемы его развёртывания. Начальные главы были написаны по свежим следам непосредственно после падения Временного правительства. В целом работа над книгой была завершена к концу 1918 года.
