Abstract

Статья посвящена деятельности выдающегося ученого, физика, академика Д.В.Скобельцына, 120-летний юбилей которого отметила российская наука в ноябре 2012 г. Отмечено, что в эпоху СССР физики работали в тесной связи с различными отраслями народного хозяйства, многие научные открытия, сделанные Д.В. Скобельцыным, его учениками, коллегами и подчиненными имели огромное практическое значение
