Abstract

В статье показывается, что политика РКП(б) ВКП(б) в 1920-1930-е годы, направленная на выкорчевывание традиций русской политической экономии, складывавшихся в течение многих десятилетий, подорвала ее потенциал, с необыкновенной силой проявившийся в начале XX в. Острый кризис, разразившийся в этой сфере научных исследований и в преподавании политэкономии в конце 1930-х годов, не замечать стало уже невозможно. Для оздоровления обстановки власти инициировали процесс формирования нового «теоретического» курса политэкономии социализма и открыли политэкономические факультеты в центральных университетах страны. В статье описывается уникальная политическая обстановка в стране, способствовавшая тому, что политэкономический факультет Ленинградского университета с самого начала своего существования оказался укомплектован очень квалифицированными кадрами. В немалой степени благодаря этому обстоятельству первые десять лет оказались героическим периодом в его истории.
