Abstract

The authors analyze the most important, in their opinion, specific features and preliminary results of the current world financial and economic crisis accenting attention on unique characteristics it has as compared to the previous ones. Those features are connected with the earlier never heard, of at least in the modern history, influence of information flows on dynamics, speed and scope of this crisis. Von Hayek mechanism of knowledge generation is analyzed from position of the modern crisis. An attempt to provide the data proving the hypothesis of information basement and mechanism of contemporary crisis transmission are also part of the article.
