Abstract

Статья посвящена анализу положения экономического факультета СПбГУ во внутрироссийском сравнении с рядом ведущих вузов экономического профиля. При проведении процедур использовались открытые источники (база данных российского индекса научного цитирования, данные о профессорско-преподавательском составе сравниваемых вузов, взятые с сайтов соответствующих учреждений). В работе дана характеристика ключевых наукометрических показателей, используемых для сравнения, перечислены их основные недостатки и допущения, которые необходимо принимать во внимание при их расчете, а также затронуты вопросы сопоставимости наукометрических данных в различных областях науки. Сделана попытка объединить количественные и качественные показатели в приемлемую для сравнения модель. Рассматриваются вопросы стратегии повышения наукометрических показателей для улучшения позиций вузов в рейтингах, в том числе в международно признанных ( Аcademicrankingofworlduniversities, QS WorldUniversityRankings и TimesHigherEducation W orldUniversityRankings ). Отдельно приводится информация о публикационной активности сотрудников сравниваемых вузов в общероссийских издательствах, имеющих широкую читательскую аудиторию. По результатам анализа сделан ряд выводов.
