Abstract

Article is dealing with the historical development of scientific beliefs of security in general and determination of the economic security, from the first reference to this category to modern understanding and trends of further research. Basic periods of social relations related to the security are presented in the documents of institutional supporting of police as a theory of public administration, based on research of national scientists of 19th century. Modern trends are revealed after the study of science developments and trends of economic thought, considering economic security as a dynamic characteristic of a system object.
