Abstract

The article is devoted to analysis of the current condition of theoretical and methodological training of students-economists. The author assumes that the training does not meet requirements needed for preparing qualified specialists in the field of economics. The author believes that it has place because of taking away the course of Political Economy from the Universities curricula. On the author opinion, the course of Economics which is widely lectured now in Universities, is not a worthy alternative to Political Economy. In this regard, he makes particular recommendations in order to significantly raise general scientific level of universities and faculties graduates.
