Abstract

Рассмотрено социально-экономическое развитие России и его влияние на окружающую среду по сравнению с высокоразвитыми странами ЕС (Германией, Францией, Великобританией), США, Японией, а также странами торгово-экономического союза БРИКС (Бразилией, Индией, Китаем). На основе статистических данных проведен анализ динамики изменения валового внутреннего продукта (ВВП) и его энергоэффективности, выбросов углекислого газа, а также качества жизни населения за период с 1995 по 2014 г., т. е. с момента принятия мировым сообществом Декларации устойчивого развития до настоящего времени. Показано, что за рассмотренный период все страны улучшили результаты социально-экономического развития, снизив давление на окружающую среду.
