Abstract

Статья посвящена решению актуальной проблемы сохранения принципа кооперативной демократии в управлении современными потребительскими обществами. Авторы представляют основные этапы развития кооперативного движения России, которые иллюстрируют важность демократического членского контроля для сохранения основных идей кооперации. Острота проблем возрождения демократического членского контроля в современных условиях подтверждается анализом статистической информации о деятельности региональных союзов Сибирского федерального округа. В качестве инструмента защиты кооперативной демократии авторами предлагается социальный аудит, так как именно его применение способствует комплексной оценке социальной ответственности кооператива перед пайщиками, сотрудниками и обществом.
