Abstract

Целью данной статьи является рассмотрение процесса формирования системы социального обеспечения и ее эволюционной трансформации в систему социальной защиты в России. Автор проводит сравнение со странами Европы, определяет результативность функционирования системы социальной защиты в плане достижения основных задач, которые она призвана решать. Исследованы основные параметры благосостояния населения, зависящие от принимаемых мер по социальной защите населения.
