Цивилизационный Абсолютизм И Цивилизационный Релятивизм

Abstract

В статье рассматривается проблема осмысления феномена цивилизации в рамках бинарной оппозиции абсолютного и относительного. Признавая категорию цивилизации как одно из важнейших понятий современного политического дискурса, автор приходит к выводу, что цивилизационистика не совместима с современными теориями нации и этноса в силу господства абсолютистской методологии в первом случае и релятивистской методологии во втором. Предлагается возможность диалектического сочетания указанных методологий.
