Abstract

The objective conditions of existence and results of natural monopolies’ activity in the economic system of society have been analyzed. The influence of bad financial and business state of natural monopolies on the increase of social costs has been studied. The directions of governmental regulation of the natural monopolies’ subjects for the improvement of their state and achievement of social welfare have been determined. Проаналізовано об’єктивні умови існування та наслідки функціонування природних монополій в економічній системі суспільства. Досліджено вплив скрутного фінансово-господарського становища підприємств-монополістів на зростання суспільних витрат. Визначено напрямки державного регулювання суб’єктів природних монополій для покращення їх становища та досягнення суспільного добробуту.
