The concept of social responsibility of business has been determined, the history of its foundation has been studied, the practice of corporate social responsibility in Ukraine and Western countries has been considered, the incentives, obstacles and perspectives of developing programs of social responsibility of business have been determined as well as the effectiveness socially responsible business has been proved. Визначено поняття соціальної відповідальності бізнесу, досліджено історію його виникнення, розглянуто практику корпоративної соціальної відповідальності в Україні та країнах Заходу, визначено стимули, перешкоди та перспективи розвитку програм соціальної відповідальності бізнесу в Україні та доведено ефективність соціально відповідального бізнесу.
