Analysis of professional periodicals announcements dedicated to the problem of bookkeeping during 1888-2007 has been conducted with the aim of definition of the native accounting thought’s contribution to development of the world doctrines’ about accounts. The articles have been analyzed and systematized; the tendencies of doctrine’s about accounts, the arising problems and the suggested ways of their solving have been discovered. Проведено дослідження публікацій у фахових виданнях протягом 1888-2007 рр., присвячених проблематиці рахункознавства, з метою окреслення внеску вітчизняної облікової думки в світовий розвиток вчення про рахунки бухгалтерського обліку. Проаналізовано та систематизовано статті, виявлено тенденції розвитку вчення про рахунки, проблеми, що виникали та шляхи їх вирішення, що пропонувалися.
