The importance of prime development of the external economic activity of the enterprises of mechanical engineering has been determined. The separate statistical data on generalizations of the tendencies of development of export and import operations of the domestic enterprises have been presented. In this process the place of mechanical engineering enterprises has been shown. The attempt of consideration of various parameters of the analysis of foreign trade activities has been made with the purpose of determining of the general concept of realization of the appropriate analysis. Визначено важливість першочергової активізації розвитку зовнішньоекономічної діяльності підприємств машинобудівної галузі. Наведено окремі статистичні дані щодо узагальнення тенденцій розвитку експортних та імпортних операцій вітчизняних підприємств. Відображено місце у цьому процесі підприємств машинобудування. Зроблено спробу розгляду різних показників аналізузовнішньоекономічної діяльності з метою визначення загальноїконцепції проведення відповідного аналізу.
