Abstract

Taking into account the impact of current problems in the economy on the state of the insurance market the functioning problems occur on structuring motor insurance market and its balance. The study aims to identify trends in motor insurance. The research of structuring and identifying the main trends in the motor insurance market allows to determine the vectors of perspective changes. The analysis of the motor insurance market functioning in Ukraine for the period of 2012–2014 has revealed the problems within the changes in the structure of this segment of the insurance market towards the insurance of civil liability of ground transport vehicles with a significant decline in the voluntary insurance with a primary flow of premiums from individuals. This analysis has allowed to formulate the necessary steps to further enhance of the motor insurance market taking into account the negative impact of lowering demand for this type of insured services, lowering solvency, slowdown the terms of insurance payments and the imperfection of relations settlement between insurers and policyholders. Враховуючи вплив наявних проблем в економіці країни на стан функціонування страхового ринку, виникають питання щодо структурування ринку автотранспортного страхування та його збалансованості. Метою дослідження є виявлення тенденцій розвитку автотранспортного страхування. Дослідження структурування та виявлення основних тенденцій показників діяльності ринку автотранспортного страхування дозволяє визначити вектори перспективних змін. Аналіз показників функціонування ринку автотранспортного страхування в Україні за період 2012–2014 рр. виявив проблеми у змінах структури даного сегмента страхового ринку у напрямі страхування цивільно-правової відповідальності засобів наземного транспорту при значному зниженні обсягів добровільних видів страхування з переважним надходженням страхових премій від фізичних осіб. Даний аналіз дозволив сформулювати необхідні заходи щодо подальшої активізації ринку автотранспортного страхування з врахуванням негативного впливу зменшення попиту страхувальників на даний вид послуг, зниження рівня платоспроможності, уповільнення термінів здійснення страхових виплат та недосконалості врегулювання відносин страховиків і страхувальників.
