МЕТОДИ УПРАВЛІННЯ ВАЛЮТНИМИ РИЗИКАМИ В ЗОВНІШНІЙ ТОРГІВЛІ // Methods of currency risk management in foreign trade

Development of the country’s market national economy is closely connected with international economic relations. Therefore national business entities are actively involved in foreign trade, and their positive results influence not only on the status and income of owners, but form the economic potential of the country. The survey describes the main indicators of foreign trade and the impact of export and import transactions on economic development of Ukraine, particularly on the gross domestic income of the country. Taking into account also the negative trends in foreign currency exchange rates, the article considers the types of currency risks that accompany international transactions and identifies the limits of the usefulness of currency risk management methods. The methods of currency risk management are also systematized, the benefits of their use for the enterprise are considered and the status and readiness of Ukraine’s financial market to ensure appropriate conditions for the functioning of the currency risk management in domestic enterprises are analyzed. Розвиток ринкової національної економіки країни тісно пов’язаний з міжнародними економічними відносинами. Тому вітчизняні суб’єкти господарювання активно беруть участь у зовнішній торгівлі, а їх позитивні результати впливають не лише на стан та доходи власників, але й формують економічний потенціал всієї країни. Під час дослідження охарактеризовано основні показники зовнішньої торгівлі та обґрунтовано вплив операцій експорту й імпорту на економічний розвиток України, зокрема на показник валового внутрішнього прибутку країни. На підставі цього, враховуючи негативні тенденції зміни валютних курсів, розглянуто види валютних ризиків, що супроводжують зовнішньоекономічні операції, та ідентифіковано межі доцільності застосування методів управління валютними ризиками. Також під час дослідження систематизовано методи управління валютними ризиками, розглянуто переваги їх застосування для діяльності підприємства та проаналізовано стан і готовність фінансового ринку України до забезпечення належних умов для функціонування системи управління валютними ризиками на вітчизняних підприємствах.
